phpMyAdmin & Why It's Integrated Into The Shared Web Hosting
Quick Intro
phpMyAdmin is a graphical web control panel for administering SQL databases created with your account. While the hosting allows you to create the databases, managing database tables requires a specific web panel dedicated to database administration, and phpMyAdmin is one of them. There are many tutorials and manuals on using phpMyAdmin around the internet, so you can easily find answers to your questions if you need to use phpMyAdmin.
Important To Know Before You Begin
To log into phpMyAdmin, a username and password are usually required. To save you time, we use a Tokenisation system instead. Tokens are unique to each account on the server and are automatically used to connect you to the hosted apps.
phpMyAdmin access outside the Web Control Panel is disabled. You can only access it via your account with Web Control Panel.
Creating, changing, or deleting databases from the server does not affect your ability to access your phpMyAdmin panel. For more information on managing SQL databases, visit Manage SQL Database.
You won't be able to access phpMyAdmin if you have NO databases created. At least one database is required to access the phpMyAdmin.
How To Access phpMyAdmin
You can access your phpMyAdmin panel via your Web Control Panel in two methods:
- First method: Navigate to Website Management > SQL Database Manager > Login to phpMyAdmin.
- Second method: Navigate to Website Management > phpMyAdmin.
