Subdomain Setup and Management

Learn How To Setup & Manage Your Subdomains Via The Web Hosting Control Panel

Quick Intro

After assigning your domain name to the Web Control Panel, you can add desired subdomains without limits. Each subdomain is created with its own Document Root Path, ensuring it does not interfere with your main domain.

Important To Know Before You Begin

Default Document Root Path

Your subdomain will be located by default at: /domains/YOUR.SUBDOMAIN.EXTENSION/public_html

Other Document Root Path Options

  1. Legacy: The Document Root path will be /domains/YOUR.MAINDOMAIN/public_html/SUBDOMAINPREFIX
  2. Custom: Allows you to customize your subdomain path. Ensure the path exists before creating.
important

Note: We recommend using the default path for ease of use. If you have specific needs, it's possible to create different paths if you understand the setup. You can also change your Document Root path anytime after creation.

important

Caution: Default settings are recommended if you are unsure about further actions.

Adding a Subdomain

To create and manage a subdomain:

  1. Navigate to Domain Management > Subdomain Management > Add Subdomain.
  2. Enter the name of the desired subdomain, e.g., blog. The main domain is assigned automatically; there's no need to type the entire domain.
  3. Leave the default Document Root, unless you need a different option.
  4. Click Add Subdomain to create it.

Managing Your Subdomain

Once your subdomain is created, you have several management options:

  • Delete the Subdomain: Remove the subdomain if no longer needed.
  • Change PHP Version: Select any available PHP version, independent of other domains, including the parent domain.
important

Note: All PHP versions are available only on Fully Featured servers. This option can be seen when selecting the server location during the purchase of a plan. We introduced the first Fully Featured server as a test, and plan to extend this functionality to all other servers over time.

  • Modify the Document Root Path: Adjust if necessary.
important

Note: Changes to PHP settings typically take about 30 seconds to apply.

Next Steps

  • Start managing your DNS records through DNS Management.
  • Begin uploading your Web Project files following your Document Root path.
